The participants of the Workshop will be settled in
hotel Carlton Opera, which is located in the fourth district of Vienna.

Since the nearest city-traffic-junction to the hotel are Opera (Oper) and Karlsplatz, here are a few hints how to get there from the point of arrival in Vienna:
- How to reach the hotel from the airport.
- The first option is to take the Rapid Transit train [ SCHNELLBAHN ], line S7 (goes one level under the airport; just follow the signs), to Wien-Mitte traffic-junction (Landstrasse subway station). Don't forget to buy a ticket (fare: EUR 3.-)). The Landstrasse is only two subway stations away from Karlsplatz - take the subway line U4 - Direction HÜTTELDORF.
- The second option is to take the City Airport Train (CAT), the tickets cost EUR 9.- and you can get them at the machines located inside the luggage claim area. The destination of the train is again the Wien-Mitte traffic-junction.
- The third option is the Vienna Airport Lines bus - line to Schwedenplatz, the ticket costs EUR 6.- and you will be brought to Schwedenplatz. From there, you take the subway line U1 - Direction REUMANNPLATZ two stations and you are on Karlsplatz.
- How to reach the hotel from Westbahnhof.
Take the subway line U3 - Direction Simmering to Stephansplatz, then the subway line U1 - Direction REUMANNPLATZ to Karlsplatz.
- How to reach the hotel from Südbahnhof.
- The first option is to take the tram line D to Kärntner Ring, Oper.
- The second option is to take the tram line 18 - Direction BURGGASSE, STADTHALLE and go one station to Südtirolerplatz. From there take the subway line U1 - Direction KAGRAN to Karlsplatz .
When you arrive at Karlsplatz, the hotel is about 10
minutes walking distance. You simply follow the Wiedner Hauptstrasse until Paulangergasse (for orientation: there is a small Church - the Paulaner Church). Turn right into Paulanergasse and after the next crossing the street straight ahead is the Schikanedergasse, where the hotel Carlton Opera is located.
Alternatively, from Karlsplatz take one of the tram lines
